This act is called “emotional holding” It’s like, a big brain hug. It calms our nervous system. Brings us back to the present moment, back into feeling our bodies, the space around. Feeling that safety that we, are here. Nothing can harm us now. We are protecting and loving and aware, feeling that Beautiful, big hug.
