Added 2020-10-26 23:15:26 +0000 UTCWhen I’m not creating here or doing something within my health, I’m usually out on the streets a lot connecting with the community that is closest to my heart.. I’ve been doing outreach work with those in transition on the streets for a lot of my life. This community means so much to me for many reasons. One, I saw my own life change in the blink of an eye due to my health changing. My financial plans and all of the hard work for my two degrees, taken. All because of my health... We don’t realize how quickly something can change and we may be in need of support in some way. I want souls to understand this community more than anything as there is such stigma. Last night was another powerful outreach for my team. A woman in layered socks and no sandals for our cold nights here Now that it’s winter... it hurts. Here is a sign I made for outreach for my buddies out there to see. I know even more than the items, the love, true support and words of hope are needed more than anything. One of my dream goals that I’ve been working toward each day is creating a trauma healing and holistic healing center for those living on the streets or in transition as it is so needed.... My heart is here. Learning. Connecting. Never forget the power of your love on a life
