There was a study done with nuns (side note - I wanted to be a nun, how ironic is that? I would have been a very dirty nun lol - clearly it wasn’t the path for me) that showed how mindset helped play a role in lifespan. The more optimistic nuns lived ten years longer than the pessimistic nuns. What?!?! 10 years longer by allowing yourself to just be happy? Sign me up!
To be honest, I have always had a pretty positive outlook. I’m one of those types that always sees the glass’s potential to be fuller than full 😂 even if it’s cracked and leaking. What about you? Would you say you are mostly an optimist or a pessimist?
