I want to engage with the here and now more than I ever have.

I didn’t always make money this way and travel to beautiful places full-time. I did the corporate grind for many years. When I was doing high-stress phone sales, I was joking around with my colleagues every free moment I had. When I was scrubbing toilets and doing housekeeping at the hot spring resort, I was having fun with coworkers and looking forward to what I was going to do with my free time.
I know life isn’t great for a lot of us right now, but that doesn’t mean we can’t find ways to make the most of the journey. Sometimes being happy can be a choice. We either control our minds or they will control us. 💕
If we get quiet and away from technology, we can focus on what we have to be grateful for, be it friends, family, our hobbies, or the simple joy of healthy routines.
