***ANNOUNCEMENT*** For those who don’t follow me elsewhere yes the rumors are true - I’m getting out of the biz. The reasons are many but it really comes down to cognitive dissonance. (Cognitive dissonance is a mental conflict that occurs when your beliefs don't line up with your actions. It's an uncomfortable state of mind when someone has contradictory values, attitudes, or perspectives about the same thing). I’m not one to be pushy with my beliefs, stances, etc but it certainly was a factor in my decision to exit. Man cannot serve two masters. This isn’t anything NEW mind you, its how I’ve always been. It’s why I kept hard boundaries with the models and treated everyone with respect. I’m not saying if you don’t think the way I do that you’re unable to do those things, but I’m simply stating my own motivations. Were it not for that, I’d have done things that would’ve surpassed that line by far. I don’t worship money, and I don’t worship base desires. Again, I’m not insinuating the reader here does, but its a constant trap always circling your shoulder and I don’t care for that. Now, will the material remain in place? Yes, it will. I’ll finish up what I have as far as ‘raw’ vid goes but that will be that. I can hear the objection already: “if youre so against it why are you not ripping it all down?” Answer: because it’s ALREADY out there, and cutting it off would only allow the piracy to increase. I spend extra money for an anti piracy service to do a lot of work for me, and this funds that in part. Also, I can use the funding to donate to causes that mean a lot to me. Again, the material is already there so… Will the Etsy shop remain with my crazy little tools? Yes of course. It’s my hope that I helped the tickle community grow some and inject some more fun into it - its a fun genre after all ! Was it easy to leave? No, it took a lot of thought and prayer; a LOT. Finally, a discussion with a philosopher who I’ve held in high regard for decades helped a lot (J Budziszewski out of Austin Texas). Another massive factor is my daughter, who really didn’t care for me doing this. I believe as parents we should be an example to our children, and me trying to rationalize this to her just wasn’t cutting it. In fact I sounded ridiculous even to myself when I was trying to. I believe life is much deeper than chasing money and desire. It’s deeper than sex (though our culture is completely obsessed with sexual orientation as a complete identity) but I say again: that isn’t to judge anyone else for how they live. If you know me at all I’m very libertarian - its your life, you live how you choose. For me, I’ve had to make this decision finally and not live an internal double life (external already knew but thats another story). I thank all of you and appreciate your kind words and support. The models were great (well….all but two) the fans very supportive and kind, and even my haters - I love you too (yes i even had haters) for giving me free exposure (you really did help lol).
